27 Dec Study Tour Report: Sinar Cendekia Islamic School
Sinar Cendekia Islamic School (SCIS) from Indonesia visited Okayama on November 18th to 19th, 2019.
On November 18th, they visited Okayama Gakugeikan High School. The Students from both schools enjoyed exchanging traditional culture, English class, listening to koto (a Japanese stringed musical instrument), then SCIS students also returned the performance with thanks.
The first day ended after SCIS received certificates and souvenirs from Gakugeikan High School. SCIS students met with the host family and finally headed for homestay.
We listened to a lecture about urban planning from a professor of Okayama University and also did workshops with foreign students from various countries along with SCIS graduates at Okayama University.
In Okayama, there are a lot of schools and academic facilities to learn more by any real experiences, by exchanging students, and so on.
