20 Dec Muslim Friendly Tour in Okayama from Sinar Cendekia Education Trip
Sinar Cendekia is an Islamic School based in Tangerang, Indonesia. Okayama was chosen for their annual education trip. Tons of students join the trip and not only learn in one of the Japanese schools but also have fun and get immersed with the Japanese culture. This Sinar Cendekia education trip in Okayama lasted for 3 days and 2 nights.
On their first day of the trip, they first got to Okayama Station from Shin-Osaka Station, they met up with the Okayama staff at the Shinkansen exit gate. After that, the first day went with Okayama Castle as their first destination.
At Okayama Castle, all of the students take a stroll around while also learning about Japanese history through the castle. After the castle tour, they went to the well-known Okayama Korakuen Garden, which is still in the same area. Okayama Korakuen Garden is known as one of the best three traditional Japanese gardens in Japan, and has been awarded three stars in the Michelin Green Guide Japan tourism guidebook.
Not only do the Sinar Cendekia students stroll around the park and have some photos together to keep the memory, but they also have their lunch in the park while some students also do their obligatory prayer.
Later on, for their educational trip, Sinar Cendekia partnered up with Okayama Gakugeikan High School and Okayama University and let their students also participate in the learning activity together with the locals.
Using Okayama’s electric tramway and subway station, they went to their next destination of the day, Okayama Gakugeikan High School.
In Okayama Gakugeikan High School, all the students from Sinar Cendekia grouped up with the local students to learn together. The study process goes by smoothly with all of them having fun together too and learning about one another’s cultures.
On the third day of the education trip, students from Sinar Cendekia went to Okayama University to also learn about the campus activities as well as learning the culture. Same as before, the students are being grouped up with the locals, and then work as a team to answer some quizzes. Still being grouped up, they take turns strolling around the campus to see all the activities that the campus offers.
Both Okayama Gakugeikan High School and Okayama University welcomed them with a warm heart and a warm memory to keep on.
Later at noon, after being done with the campus tour as well as eating lunch in the cafeteria of Okayama University, they get off to have some more fun in Okayama.
