05 Mar Study Tour Report: CEMPAKA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
From February 17th – February 20th, 2020, 27 members of CEMPAKA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL from Malaysia visited Okayama City. During this study tour, with the cooperation of Okayama Nishi Fire Station, they tried earthquake drills training by the special vehicle, the fire drills, and rescue training, which is rare in Malaysia.
In the special vehicle which is for earthquake drills training, they practiced to save their bodies and heads by hidding them under the table, while getting the bigger magunitude earthquake that they had never experienced. Additionally, they trained and learned about extinguish the fire with a fire extinguisher.
Also, during the exchange lessons & cultures with the Okayama Gakugeikan High School, they toured the school, played the traditional Japanese Taiko drums. They got feeling Japanese school life.
