Take JR Tsuyama line from Okayama Sta. >> get off at JR Fukuwatari Sta. >> take a taxi (approx. 20 mins.) By car from Okayama City, take the Sanyo Expressway from Okayama I.C. and head north; turn right on route 429. Head toward the Kibichuo Town Kamogawa Town Office and go on route 484. Head north and follow the road signs to the horse park.
This horse park located in northern Okayama Prefecture deals with retired race horses and rehabilitates them into horses for riding lessons and horse therapy sessions. Visitors can spend time petting and touching the horses, and riding lessons for beginners are also included in the therapy course. A certified and experienced trainer helps lead the horses to ensure a safe and pleasant experience. Guests come away feeling happy and fulfilled.
The horse park is located next to the Kibi-no-Mori Botanical Park.
Take the time to also visit central Kibikogen City, the home of Kibikogen Resort Hotel which has a shopping complex and a well-manicured park that is perfect for a picnic or a casual stroll. Actually, Kibichuo Town is a popular place for car, motorcycle and bicycle touring due to the scenic and well-maintained roads.
