ACCESS:
Take JR Tsuyama line from Okayama Sta. >> get off at JR Fukuwatari Sta. >> take a taxi (approx. 20 mins.) By car from Okayama City, take the Sanyo Expressway from Okayama I.C. and head north; turn right on route 429. Head toward the Kibichuo Town Kamogawa Town Office and go on route 484. Head north and follow the road signs to the garden.
This beautiful and serene botanical garden is set in the mountains in northern Okayama Prefecture. In fact, the view from the main garden looks out over a mountain range that carries the viewer’s eye far away. Relaxing and peaceful, there is something in bloom in all seasons.
Sit and enjoy a coffee or refreshment on the veranda while enjoying the view.
Families and children welcome; some attractions such as a garden swing, lawn games, and grass sliders available for children.
There are rental spaces available for concerts and barbecues as well as a garden shop on-site. If you are travelling in a large group, plan ahead to make your own special event a reality.
Located next to the Okayama Joba Horse Club. Admission for adults is 500 JPY.
