Hakkei is the premier hot spring resort in Maniwa City. The facility is located just below the dam on the Asahi River, in which visitors can enjoy the free outdoor mixed-gender baths. For Muslim guests, we recommend renting a private bath at Hakkei.

Hot springs replenish the body with oxygen and minerals. Staying at a resort provides the opportunity to totally relax and not worry about sticking to a strict schedule because of the reassurance that comes from knowing that you will be treated to a fabulous meal and a good night’s sleep in comfortable surroundings.

Be sure to enjoy specially-prepared Muslim-friendly cuisine for lunch or dinner at the Hakkei dining room (advanced reservation required). Meals are prepared by Iron Chef Challenger Mr. Seiya Masahara, and are made with about 50 varieties of locally harvested vegetables.
